Individual and Couple Therapy for parents of Neurodivergent Kids
Relational Skill building for your most cherished relationships.
Hi, I’m Maggie,
Bringing 18 Years of therapy experience and lived understanding to your family’s healing.
You’re tired of just surviving the days, managing meltdowns, and feeling distant from your partner. True transformation happens when you stop just managing chaos and start building relational safety.
You don’t need another provider who will pathologize you or your child or expect you to conform to traditional parenting styles.
Your child does not need fixing. And neither do you. You need a space where you can be met with empathy, understanding and collaborative guidance.
I help individuals and couples navigating neurodivergent parenting move from constant crisis management to long-term stability.
Why Working With Me Is Different
My work centers each individual and family’s unique experiences and needs. I am deeply committed to connected and collaborative work both personally and professionally. I understand the dance of honoring the needs of neurodivergent children and parents, while also navigating a world that doesn’t always get it.
My approach bridges the gap between deep, transformative healing and the real-world demands of your daily life:
Neurodivergent-Affirming at the Core: I never try to "fix" who you or your child are. I honor how your family is built.
Deep Trauma & Healing Work: Using Internal Family Systems inspired parts work, somatic practices, mindfulness based Cognitive Behavior Therapy and, creative expression, we address the root of parental burnout, trauma, and the invisible grief of navigating a world not built for your family. The goal is to build internal steadiness and trust in yourself so you know you can make it through the difficult moments and recover from parenting “mistakes” with self-compassion and clarity.
Practical Day-to-Day Parenting: You’ll learn actionable tools centered on nervous system regulation so you can navigate meltdowns and high-stress moments with steadiness and trust.
Authentic Relational Skills: . You’ll gain concrete, custom tools to resolve conflict, deepen your bond, and rediscover joy with your child and partner.
Creative Expression: When words aren’t enough, we move beyond the rational mind and make space for what words can’t express. Art doesn’t have to be pretty to be healing and transformative. As a life long creator, I encourage creative expression through any modality that works for you and can be incorporated into your work in therapy.
In order to be truly neurodiversity affirming and relational, I believe in unlearning patriarchal and supremacist values. I believe our individual healing is rooted in our collective healing. My lens is intersectional, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive.
